I’m gonna freak out, like a ninja, ‘cause that’s what ninjas do.
It’s a favorite song of a friend, making ninja’s a popular topic of conversation. Personally I prefer Ninja Warrior, a game show of sorts imported from Japan where amazingly strong and coordinated people show ninja-like skills on an obstacle course.
But I digress.
I received a NINJA Master Prep Professional to review. It’s my own personal kitchen ninja. It can create drinks, snacks and even meals. It pulls ingredients through 6 blades (or 4 for smaller containers) to evenly chop, mince and dice your food. To give you an idea of how it can be used, they share a variety of recipes.
It has 6 NINJA blades and 450 watts of power, moving twice the speed of light the speed of similar products.
The NINJA Master Prep Pro comes with three different sizes of containers, which are dishwasher and microwave safe and come with lids for storage. It comes with a 16 oz. chopping bowl, a 40 oz. “multi-task” pitcher and a 48 oz. pitcher.
The NINJA Master Prep starts at $59.99 and is available at retailers or online.
The interchangeable power pod allows consumers to quickly and easily transition between recipes, bowls and pitchers.
I can definitely see myself using this for sauces and soups. There’s a yummy-sounding recipe for Pea and Pesto Soup I want to try and I think this would work really well for it! I could make it in the pitcher and store the extra in the fridge.
I used it to make a quick salsa-type sauce to serve with chicken. I’ll share the recipe later, if I can find it after my move! It was basically roma tomatoes, fresh basil, red onion, garlic, salt and pepper and spices. It took mere minutes to make! The NINJA Master Prep did a pretty good job of creating evenly-sized pieces, you just have to watch carefully.
The biggest negative is it takes a lot of room to store this device. The blades can be stored inside the containers but you still have to store three containers and the power pod.
I really enjoyed this product and I look forward to finding more uses for it!
